Session aim:
Two separate community walking groups aimed at enhancing stroke recovery within the Merseyside region will discuss the drivers to setting up the groups, outcomes, benefits and challenges. The talk will involve a problem solving session around how we engage our populations.
Objectives:
To understand how two walking groups were set up and the outcome measures chosen.
To understand the benefits to the patients and the team.
To understand the challenges faced.
To have the opportunity to participate in a discussion around how we can overcome these challenges including patient engagement.
